So I see a lot of crossover and, as I do enjoy crossing universes myself, I am getting very, very irritated. For example, I see Pinkie Pie from MLP with Orichimaru from Naruto.

Now, I know I sound terrible because I did it myself with Kingdom Hearts and Silent Hill, but look at it this way: I gave reasons why it's possible. Kingdom Hearts is about traveling worlds. Seeing Sora hanging out with ponies would be a normal occurrence if it happened. However, there is no reason for the ponies to enter the Naruto universe (or Bleach or other serious anime like that).

Unless it's a parody, there really is no reason.It makes no sense in my mind. Call me bigoted, but it's not just ponies. I see people put YuGiOh characters in Fallout. It doesn't make sense and it never will unless they can turn their card games into guns. It just doesn't happen.

So, there's my point. Belief or disbelief rests with you, as the Garo once said, so you don't have to agree with me. I just felt like making a stamp about this.

I'm trying to do a Final Fantasy VII and Tales of Symphonia cross over as an attempt at a murder mystery (when I got the idea I was on a bit of CSI and NCIS kick).

I'm actually in the process of rewriting this because once I nine and half chapters in I thought: Wait...NONE OF THIS MAKES ANY FLIPPING SENSE! BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD!

I ran the idea past a few people and they have said that FFVII and ToS crossover seems plausible and liked the idea of having chapter devoted to Cloud and Kratos duking it out and my OCs placing bets on who would win.

FFVII happens to be one of my favorite series. xDD
I think it would work out. They have the same general genre and setup, so I really don't see how that would be implausible.

I applaud you for going back halfway through to rewrite. xD I look at my old fics and cry, because I wanted to rewrite mine, but holy Jesus FUCK they're difficult to read for me. I end up laughing at my younger self. xD

And not to mention I also have a plausible way of getting my OC to Aselia. falling into the Lifestream. Becasue once you fall in there is no telling what will happen.

though that also means severe Mako poisoning too...

does it make sense for Fullmetal Alchemist characters to be in the Legend of Korra universe? I would think so because both series are steampunk oriented. And Ed and Al could take out the Equalists with alchemy.

Alchemy doesn't exist in Legend of Korra, so it would cause a lot of alarm. xD Also, basing the crossover on whether or not they're both steampunk doesn't give a lot of basis. LOK harbors on a lot of spiritual elements, where FA, from what I've seen of it, has more science to it.
If someone could make it work, power to them, but I don't see a huge potential in it other than "hey let's mash my favorite series together!"
